Project 2.b

This piece draws inspiration from Anna Gouveia's senior thesis work; her triptych series and artist statement. The driving message of Anna's project was trying to capture the feeling of home through her photography. I translated this idea in my twine piece by drawing from my own experiences of what home is, especially when your position in the world is constantly changing. I wanted this piece to remind the audience that change is inevitable but also to comfort them through showing them that home travels with you no matter where you go.
